Ballad In Print

Ballad is pleased to announce Ballad In Print, a new offering of forthcoming books and prints from our photographers. Lucas is currently in production on his first book of photographs on local markets in Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Cuba. Tentatively titled Market / Places, the edition will feature 50 - 60 photographs, all taken over the last couple years work in Latin America, and is scheduled for release by the end of the year.

It is our hope that the Ballad In Print imprint will become synonymous with high quality photo books that will not only look great, but help to inform and educate. Our goals with this project also include creating travelling exhibitions that coincide with the launch of each new book, thereby extending the reach of their message. These exhibitions will also be available for download, and use by non-profits and schools free of charge for education purposes.

Our photographers are also working on preparing a number of prints of their work that will be also be available for sale through this site shortly. A percentage of proceeds on select photos will be donated by Ballad back to the communities with which we are working, as a means of celebrating their contribution to our work.
